I more or less always believed the Bible, but never really cared one way or the other. I always did what I wanted to.
Then, I began a systematic topical study of the Bible and learned what it really teaches, not what I thought and had always been told it taught.
The things I learned helped me to draw close to God and to his Son Jesus, to learn to love them and to appreciate what they had done for me, as well as what they would yet do.
I therefore dedicated my life to God to serve him forever, under the headship of his Son and by the direction of the holy spirit.
I truly am thankful to Jehovah for his send his Witnesses my way. Now I am one of Jehovah's Christian Witnesses.

First I was born and raised in a Christian family, then I fell away from the Church for a long time.
I read a passage of the Bible, and it inspired me. I reached a decision that I could not be so arrogant as to think I could come up with all the answers on my own, so I became Christian, because Christianity had many attributes which I believe in.
Now I'm Muslim.

I was introduced to religion as a child but walked away from it for a long time. Then I started to feel like I was missing something in my life and I picked up a bible and started reading again the stories I had been taught as a child. They began to make sense to me and I found out all sorts of things I missed along the way, so now I study it on my own and pray on my own. I do not care for organized religion as they all have different visions of the same scripture. I fifured since I am very good at reading and comprehension, I could do no worse on my own with God to guide me through the harder scriptures. I have been happier since then.

I became a Christian because there come a time in life that you think that there has to be something more than just been here. I grew up with 4 different theologies. 1.Santeria, 2.Catholicism and 3.Evangelical, then later on came into the picture Islam. I joined and enjoyed all of them but I had to choose the one with the truth, and that was Evangelical.

When I realized that I was lost in sin and Jesus died for me. And He would have done it even if I were the only one to accept Him. Even though I was raised Christian, I didn't have a relationship with Him until I was about 35. I went to church but didn't understand that this didn't cut it.

God spoke to me my whole life. Though my parents weren't in church or living a Christian life I was drawn to church and went every Sunday. It was because of my parents that I dropped out of church and eventually turned away from God. The day I found out I was pregnant, I was filled with the Holy spirit. I knew that only God could do something like this and I immediately fell to my knees and begged God for forgiveness and accepted Jesus as my savior. I started growing each day in His love and Blessings. I finally got back into church and decided to get baptized and join the church. All of this spoke to my husbands heart and he also got saved and we were baptized together. Hallelujah! God bless you!

I became a Christian becuase God has elected me from eternity past that I should come to know the heinousness of my sins and my condition; my helplessness to change my own nature and escape damnation; my utter need for Christ; that I should receive the Holy Spirit who quickened me to the New Birth that I should come and UNDERSTAND the gospel of salvation and appropiate it for my self and henceforth walk in God's light as a redeemed child of God. He chose me first before I chose Him.

[I]t was because I realized that I desperately need Jesus. All it took was to sin once to be separated from God. No one is perfect, so I accepted the fact that I want to accept the Grace that was offered to me that I couldn't do alone. Simply put, I need Jesus to be in the presents of God here on earth and especially in the next life where it is eternal.

I became unchristian. When I researched the bible it did not appear to be the word of God. Agnostic is the road for me. It makes sense and it feels right.
