Using a shampoo with jojoba (pronounced hahoba) extract in it has worked for me. Mill Creek from Vitacost.com has worked best. Jojoba is slightly acidic and breaks down the dandruff. Good Luck!

The BEST way is to keep your head shaved. See, your skin sloughs off dead cells all the time, but hair holds it in. That is why dandruff forms on your scalp, but not on the hairless parts of your skin.

nizoral worked for me, didn't work for others.

what works for me (and i noticed for many other when i recommended), even if i don't use nizoral, but any other shampoo antidandruff is to use it alternative with other. a normal one. or better a shampoo that suits your hair type.

once antidandruff + next your hair type. and so on.
try not to wash your hair more then twice a week. and don't hurt your head when washing (as in apply pressure).don't use nails either. surprisingly but the dirt is on your hair not your scalp.
