Lot of people think this is it. This is the thinking of many "Pundits" of not only Hindu religion, but lots of other religions.
Scientifically speaking it is inevitable. It will happen.
Reason:
The earth is slowly but steadily moving closer and closer to the sun. Some day it will be within what I call will be at stricking distance, when it will be attracted towards the sun and it will gain speed and ultimately be devoured by the sun.
This is a must scenario.
It will not happen in our life time but it can and will happen for sure.
Unless.
This scenario happens first.
There are very large bodies, that are present in the outer space, some of them are at this time are not known to us. These bodies travel at humongous speed, and they are much larger then our sun, if one of them got close enough to our earth or even our sun, again within striking distance then, earth could be pull out of this comfortable orbit and same can happen to our sun.
This leads to yet two other scenario:
1. Can you imagine earth's existence without sun?
2. Say sun is not affected but only earth comes within striking distance of such body.
Both of this No. 1. and No. 2. scenarios can happen any time probability is low, but it can happen in our life time.
By the way it takes only 8 second for light from sun to reach our earth (from top of my head, correct me, if I am wrong).
It is a know (hypothesis) that at the speed of light, mass coverts to, heat and light energy.
A returning space capsul reaches 4600 miles per hour in no time before entering the earth's atmosphere. It is the retro rocket that slows it down to a managable speed of 2500 range for reentry in to earth's atmospere.
No. 1. and No. 2., can be KalYug Senerio.
Even the most optimistic person will have hard time thinking of SatiYaYug, in Face of any one of the two senerios.

Kaliyug is already ebbying out, all evil and negativities will be eliminated by Kalki the tenth Avtar of Vishnu.We are now transcending thru kreta yug where all that is not pure or against the will of god will be exposed.eg:, scams,scandals,corruption ,graft&lies.A fter THIS WILL COME SATYAYUG where only those who are realised souls&chosen by the Devine will be ushered in,.As regards as to how &when this destruction will take place. is adequately mentioned in all religious books& scriptures.There is no time to waste take your realisation& surrender to the DEVINE MOTHER THE ADISHAKTI.

How Kalyuga can end without the coming of Kalikavtar ?
OR has he come already ?
The characteristics of Kalikavtar have been explained in Vedas which remarkably resembles those of prophet Mohammad[pbuh]
Now for your question. Till the earth reaches its end there will be several kalyugas, Tretas, satyugas,dwapars and the cycle goes on.
As you know that nothing is permanet or forever execpt the change. Therefore accept the change gracefully and be prepared for the better.
Though it is not going to happen in our life time...

the end of Kaliyug is the birth of satyug. in kaliyug yes everything will (seem) faster!!!

no desire. concepts strikes continuously. concepts isn't a element, concepts is a technique. concepts purely factors to what it skill to have continuously concepts occurring in information. concepts is changing continuously. as quickly as you strengthen into tired of it or fairly bored stiff, as quickly as you open as much as being, that's previous concepts, you are able to go beyond concepts and are available to no- concept. some human beings lie to themselves, they are able to fairly be able again to very sluggish concept circulate, no longer lots of concepts as in different circumstances and then they think of now they have a silent concepts or are in no- concept. yet even the belief "there is not any concept now" is a concept itself... what to do? it happens via grace purely, no longer via attempt. purely whilst attempt stops, no- concept happens. as long as you think of "i'm thinking, i can flow concepts the way "I" desire..." you're in phantasm. even it fairly is a concept...
