I think it depends on the lady in question! Like the reason behind getting a tattoo. You do not want to get a tattoo and later change your mind and start to think of removing it. Where I come from originally, tattoo on women is seen as a thing of beauty, and they wore it all over their legs hand and neck with pride. That was just a tradition! But think about it, if your tattoo is just to give you a reason to expose your butt or breast, then maybe the motives are wrong. But generally, I see no reason why women should not wear tattoos responsibly!

Yes they look good if u get somethin small and feminine, I personally dont have any tattoos cos I dont really like em and would probably go off wotever design I chose.
but I do think they can look good just be very choosy bout the design and where u have it, on the ankle and at the bottom of ur back looks good, i know it's common but it's the best places dont have em on ur arms bit of a no no ideally u want it in a place u can show it off if u want but hide if neccasary.

I don't see why not. Im female and i have 3 tattoos. I have been very careful to get them done in areas that i can show or can easily cover. I think too many can look bad so less is deffo more. I have a faerie on each shoulder and a celtic design with a rose in the centre. I won't get any more now. x

Why not? If it's something beautiful, it looks great on both men and women. I have one on my back....and for those people who say how will you look when you're older with a saggy tattoo, I actually answer them: "Do you really know you're going to get that old? Cause I don't". Live life to the fullest, don't worry about tomorrow, it may never come. I lost my 18-year-old brother three years ago in a car accident...it made me change my whole viewpoint. Blessings.

Women can and should do just about whatever they please.
If a woman wants a tattoo, go for it. The only female tattoos I frown upon are lower back tattoos.

It's if anyone should men or women. I am female, and I have tattoos. I,de rather not have them now, however we all make mistakes and mine are etched into my skin. And as for all women who have tattoos are over weight and live on council estates, I am a educated woman, not over weight, who works damn hard and I am not from a council estate. Where you come from has nothing to do with tattoos.
We are all entitled to our own opinion, however I think some people judge a book by it's cover and clearly reach the wrong conclusion about some one with tattoos. (no names mentioned!)

Personally I do not like them.
Tattoos on a woman looks about as appealing as a man wearing a pair of pierced earrings!
They do not look good when a woman is dressed for a fancy occasion....they detract from the outfit, as well as the woman's personal beauty.
What will all these women look like when they are 65 and older? Pretty funny if you ask me!

If they want tattoos, let them have it. Yet, in the last 15 years, I've seen so many tattoos on women, it's mind-boggling. Women today have more tattoos than men. One problem, however, it's very, very expensive to remove them. Thousands of dollars. So if anyone outgrows their tattoos, they're stuck with them unless they could pay ten thousand dollars to remove one with surgery.

Yes, why not? They look great!
Only one possible problem - there's a rumour going round that the ink in tattoos around the base of the spine may interfere with epidural injections. A quick search on the internet suggests that this is only true in a few unlucky cases though...
