Insert your CD and open Windows Media Player. If you are using Windows Media Player version 10, go to "Burn". There is this icon on the left top cover that says "Erase Disc". You will have a clean CD after that.

If you are using version 9, so to Copy to CD Device tab. You can also find the erase disc icon there.

Or, an easier way to erase the data would be to just simply click "Start" in the lower left corner of the computer screen, then "My Computer", then click the CD-drive which your disc is on, and all of the files should be there. Just click "Delete" on the keyboard or right click and then select "Delete."

You can use Nero or Easy CD writer or other CD writer software and do a full erase.

Your CD burner came with some tools. There should be an Erase or Format program. If you have Roxio, look for the Drag-To-Disc program.
