you learn to stand up on your own two feet and be whoever you feel you need to be. you create your own path and dont look back. i learnt when i was young that my father never wanted me, but he adores my younger sister. i learn this from my mother and she did nothing bout it. so i did what i said. im my own person. the only contact i have with my parents is an occassional call from my mother. but i have surrounded myself with awesome friends. and the most beautiful fiancee anyone could hope for. you can do it.

I think your parents do care about you, but at a certain age group, that is how we feel, because they won"t let us go here or their, they wont let us see, that guy who I really like, or I can"t wear a certain type of clothing. Mom and Dad is only looking out for our own best interest, they really want the best for you, sometimes they do not want you to make the same mistakes that they made. So It may be hard right now, but try and follow the rules, and do what your are suppose to do, and everyone will get on just fine. You may not see it right now, but you will when you get older!

Why u feel your parent don't care about u? Because they are busy at work or they don't know how to express their love with the way u want? Why don't u talk to them about how u feel about them? Tell them how u feel and how u wanna be pamper. This may take some time to solve afterall there's 20 years generation gap between them and u. Just be patient and talk to them and I'm sure u both will find a way out of this...AND I confirm they care about u very much because u r their child!

Sometimes its hard when your not close to your family you feel almost like if my family don't care about me how can anyone else.I was never close to my mum she was never someone i could talk to or or cuddle when i was upset,and it used to break my heart when i used to see my friends with theirs mums and how close they were.Most of my child hood i used to have an empty feeling in the Pitt of my stomach almost like something was missing and until i got older i didn't realize what that was.I never spoke to my mum about my feelings of been unloved an uncared for. Don't make the same mistake, talk to them tell them how you feel and how much it upsets you. Because at the end of the day you were only given 1 set of parents and believe you me most of them are far from perfect.GOODLUCK!!

being there for u, doesn't mean that they have to be there for u every minute of there lives, that's just plane simple selfish. But being there for u on any type of special occasion, be present in ur life, buying stuff and putting food on the table, tacking u in to the bad est., that's caring, put the tables around and try to see maybe Ur not such a caring child after all.

talk to your parents about it....sometimes...parents are pre occupied with their respective career that they forget to give quality time for their kids!!! for sure your parents love you!!! just write them a letter...and tell them what you feel....or talk to them......face to face....i guess you just mis interpreted your parents....
