Use a deep moisturizing conditioner and leave it in for a couple minutes in the shower, when you get out spray on leave-in conditioner.

You need a conditioner after each washing. You might try a hot oil treatment and follow directions on the box.
You should use a wide toothed comb on wet hair, if you feel it necessary to comb it while wet, and a good brush for when it's dry. Wet hair is easily damaged because it's at it's weakest and if you can, you should wait until it's dry before brushing or combing.

You could try massaging warm coconut oil into your hair and leaving it in for a couple of hours (the longer the period of time, the better). Warning: don't let your hair touch anything because it'll make it greasy. Shampoo thoroughly.
