The feathers can sometimes take up to a year to grow back. You can help stimulate the feather follicle to grow by having your bird flap while holding it for five minutes every day. Sometimes a feather is pulled out so hard that the follicle won't produce feathers again. This usually happens after repeated pulling. Budgies will moult two to four times a year and they drop a lot of feathers during this time. That's perfectly normal. If the feathers don't grow back in the next few months I'd talk to a vet. Something might be wrong.
Good luck!

I don't understand what you're saying. The feathers have been gone for six months?! Then no they won't grow back. They should have grown back by now if they were going to.
Or do you mean the bird is six months old? In that case, yes, this is a normal, but heavy moult. This is normal.

a chicken that looks hyped up and sitting with the two ft on its perch is ill . save it in a heat place and make useful it has sparkling water and seed, maybe extremely fruit or vegetable like spinach. Plucking feathers could be boredom or it might have a scaley mite. you are able to frequently see mites as a scale close to the beak. If this is occuring somewhat mineral oil utilized with a cotton bud will treatment it. A birds temperature is very extreme , so save it heat. you are able to conceal the cage to assist save the chicken quiet. it is going to frequently get extra perfect in some days or it is going to die. If it does die , wash the cage and toys in very heat water and a disinfectant and wait some weeks in the previous getting yet another chicken.

Probably just molting, all birds do it, and if that's what happening, there probably isn't any reason to panic. If the cat did pull them out, they'll still probably grow back anyway...
