If you have not already got a job waiting for you then it could be difficult. But if you do then your future employer should sent you a certain form (forgotten the name) and you book a visa appointment time at the US embassy in London, you go to the embassy and give them all your forms, they ask if you are a terrorist and then you get your visa.

Have a look on the website to see what type of visa you need then find out what you need to do to get it, then book an appointment.

The USA embassy is a nightmare and I wish you luck if you want to get help by calling them, get as much info as you can off the website.

This is a simple question. Call the US Embassy office located in the country you are in. You need to bring your valid passport (will not expire in 6 months) and have to pay a fee for the the interview (not more than $100.00 unless they changed it).

You bring your income tax form for the past three years and your bank statements for the last 6 months in case they need proof that you are gainfully employed and to convince them that you are coming back and not overstaying to become an illegal immigrant in the US. They require all these supporting documents for visa applicants from third world countries. They dont require these supporting papers from Japanese.

So, if you are in the UK and you are a British citizen - they may just require your passport. Check the consulate office in UK.

Your buddy is stable aside from the area approximately "eire being area of the united kingdom" which might offend the kin contributors of extremely some people who have been given killed ninety-unusual years in the past making specific that isn't the case. The Republic of eire and the united kingdom sort an effortless shuttle area (that's fullyyt cut loose the Schengen Zone which includes maximum different ecu international places and a few different international places which includes Norway and Iceland), meaning that effectively you entered the united kingdom whilst the Irish immigration officer stamped your passport in Dublin. In theory the passportless border between eire and the united kingdom in basic terms applies to Irish and British electorate, yet as you spotted, passengers on planes between the two international places arrive landside of the immigration desks so which you have not got a raffle to speak to uk Borders besides. do not be unnecessarily paranoid approximately immigration - ecu immigration team are in many cases so lots extra approachable than US ones, as you have curiously already spoken to somebody at UKBA you have tried to envision your concern.
