impressive-looks like youve given this some thought! anyone who reads their bible will be able to see that masses of what is taught in the churches is incorrect. Church doctrines like the trinity(matt 26v39&mark 13v32), idol worship(exodus 20v4,5 & acts 21v25), the immortal soul(genesis 2v7,prov 12v10), hellfire (ecclesiastes 9v10,11&romans 6v7) (to name only a few) and most of the religious holidays still celebrated annually were inventions by constantine and other religious head honchos back in the 4th century designed to pacify and unite many false christians that had arisen after the death of Christ and were beset by divisions within their separate organisations. Most of these practises and beliefs came from Greek philosophies that stemmed from false babylonian teachings. In answer to your ?'s, yes, the church is responsible for the much of the war down through history, but then so is most religion. Yes, the church does hide things from its followers - politics and religion go hand in hand though, and for the church to remain in power there are things that must be kept secret. The bible talks about a time though when politics will turn its back on religion and it will begin to crumble. This is starting to happen but it will get a lot worse! They are really good questions-if you want the answers you can check out the source. Its important to keep on asking-the answers are out there.

Christian religious belief system in general is responsible for a lot of wars not just the Catholic branch. there are many things kept secret by any denomination in order to help keep control over their followers and why wouldn't any Religion be scared to let the followers know everything as their control would be relinquished and individuals would be able to worship in a freer manner

No. I don't see any link between the Catholic church and the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Dhafour, Somalia, the problems in North Korea, the war we just had in Lebanon and so on.

They probably hold some information back, but is that different to what all governments do ?

I think you are being swept away too much on all those "conspiracy" theories bandied about in recent times to entertain the bored and to frighten the gullible. I am NOT a Catholic, by the way; although I am a believer.

Because they are just as corrupt as any government. It's all about money and power. I mean, where in the bible does it say people should go to church anyway. God never told people to go to church, they did!

The same is true for ALL religions. A little bit of Religion is like a little bit of syphilis, unless eradicated, it always gets worse.

I'm not Catholic, so I don't really know. But if you have a Bible, the truth is in it.

The Catholic Faith is the one true faith. Yes, the Church has made mistakes in the past as have all churches.
