In the US, unless it's a business reply envelope, it will be returned to you. If you don't put your return address on it, it will be sent to the dead letter office to be destroyed, thus making a lot of trouble for people not involved in the junk mailing.

If the junk mailers include a "business reply" envelope, by all means send it back stuffed with everything that will fit inside, and they have to pay for it.

What i do is save em all up, swap the literature about so that the SAGA stuff gets put in the RSPCA envelope etc etc. Must really pee em off getting other people's stuff.

Faxed stuff i just mark STOP SENDING US CRAP put in an envelope and post back without a stamp.

here's what you should do. if you get a no postage required business reply envelope, take a bunch of other junk flyers and mail and stuff it in the envelope and mail it back to them on their dime.

Whoever it came from gets billed it`s easier to just bin it surely?no wonder the first class & second class letters aren`t getting delivered there`s too much junk flying around.

In the UK, they get charged £1 handling fee plus the cost of postage

I tried that once: it came back to me, postage due. Send it back (torn up) if there's a postage paid envelope, otherwise toss it and forget it.
