this would be all about whom he is talking with about this minor,someone other then a colleague with a interest in the case.but nobody out side the case.

A probation officer can discuss any of their charges with anyone they see fit in the performance of their duties.

I'm sure that you mean "minor" as in a child. If you do mean "miner" as in a coal miner, the same applies.

Yes I often discussed the miners' strike with my probabation officer. He had quite strong views, being a Socialist and not wishing the miners to be abused by the police on the picket lines.
