what is it sulking about? did you take it to the vet?

Do you know why it's sulking? All cats sulk at some stage or another, for various reasons. They usually come round in their own time.

Need to know what it is sulking about. Has it been upset over a trip to the vet, a scare, a newcomer in the house or just suddenly sullen up.
What exactly is it doing to make you think it's sulking? Emotionally offended somehow or is it getting sick??

lol, my cat sulks all the time she's a princess, the best thing to do is ignore it, because otherwise they get into the habit of sulking to get what they want, especially if you've just told them off!!!!

Mine are forever sulking - particularly as I have a brother and sister, and when you give the one attention, you get the evil looks off the other one! I put it down to the fact that they are so god damn spoiled that the tinest upset (i.e. no fresh chicken to eat today) puts them in a sulk... I do get my revenge... they are due for boosters soon! :-)

If he isn't sick and has been checked by a vet then let him sulk, he'll come out of it. Just keep patting him and give him a lot of cuddling

Try giving it some attention, maybe a toy could help...even a cuddle once in a while is good for it. The weather can sometimes affect a cats emotions, especially if they like to go out. If none of these work, you should take him/her to the vets. It could be serious!

Cats are very vain and like to be told how beautiful and superior they are. So get down to its level and and tell him/her lots and lots of compliments in a really enthusiastic voice. You'll feel stupid and your cat loves it that way.....

A hot water bottle in his/her bed and a bowl of tuna for tea followed by a saucer of cream. x Cuddles all round.

My dog gets sulky sometimes, just like his Mummy and all it takes is a hot water bottle and a little bit of fillet and i'm the best Mummy in the world again!! x x x
