I think the Buddha died around 480 BC while Mohammad died in 632 AD.
So no way Mohammad could have spoken to Buddha.

Prophet Muhammed never mentioned Buddha and his disciples.

However, he did instruct the Muslim armies to leave the monks and monastics alone (apart from the women, children, old and unarmed)

I have not heard this before. Do you have a source?

It is not far fetched any way as Prophet Muhammad respected everyone and this is what Islam teaches us: if you know somthing good about someone, say it and praise them. If bad, keep your mouth shut.

Peace be upon you all.

sorry I don't know.could you please leave this kind of arguments?you know I mean Islam is a great religion and it's the religion of peace. If you hear things up side down on your media that's just because of political matters.Just ignore them all.Love Islam and God will love you too.Love all religions and all prophets.they are all the same thing.guiding us to have a better life.we respect all religions but as you see unbelievers are trying to picture everything opposite of what it really is.take Iran for example.I hear unbelievable lies about it but I'm living in Iran and I believe it's the best country ever.
