I've know this guy since the 6th grade and we've been friends ever since. Now he's my best friend next to Melissa and I like him more than a best friend. Allot more. A ton of my friends say we would make a cute couple and there's a rumor going around saying we go out. This is because we went to homecoming together and we slowdanced. We just went as friends though. I have reasons to think he likes me and he doesn't like me. He got me a white rose crosage for homecoming even though we only went as friends but I had to practicaly ask him to dance before we did. He knows me almost as well as I know myself but we're best friends so that doesn't really count. I just know I really like him allot and that I don't like anyone else this much. Is it really weird for best friends to go out. I'm just scared if he doesn't like me that he'll feel weird being my friend. Man I'm just so confused.

See if he likes you back by giving hints that you like him...not the very big hints just playful actions just to see his reaction...but you should go for it definitely, you never know...he might actually like you back but was just not sure how you felt!

was in the same position 2 years back.Well we decided to have a relationship but we had this great fear of breaking up and we found stuff that we didn't like with each other on that level but normally as friends we wouldn't .the communication was poor,we parted ways and decided if by the time we get ready for marriage we didn't have anyone we would marry each other.but we still best friends ,we never had sex though i think that would have destroyed every thing.we still have feelings for each other and the problems is we can't relate to anyone because either one of us is jealous of the other and our friendship always come in between the relationship with other people.Well if he likes you just be cautious.

Don't bother, if he liked you, he would have already made a move. Maybe once you get older, he'll realize that you guys are compatible but for now, just be friends with him. You sound young... don't be foolish in making a move when you already know it's not gonna happen.

that is pretty bad! i had the same problem two months ago, just mine was a bit more complicated! i started going out with this guy but hes best friend became my best friend we spoke about every thing under the sun and we saw each other every day cause he had a car and my boyfriend was working at the time i started developing feelings for this guy and did not know what to do! later on when me and hes friend had just gone out for a month when i had a sexually dream about my best friend, so when i went to hes house wating for my boyfriend to finish work i got the guts to tell my boyfriend, it turned out he liked me to so one thing led to another and now we have been going out for two months so my suggesten to you is tell him, suttly though!

Go for it. Stop believing the BS rules that friends can't be lovers. Life is not an episode of Dawson's Creek. Who writes these stupid rules?

Just because everyine says you two are a couple, doesnt make it so. Do not push more than friendship on this person or you will probably scare him off for good. Just wait and see how your friendship grows, it maybe more, it may not.

you cant blame yourself for liking your bestfriend...
more than friends usually likes his bestfriend...
it's not a crime and a million of other girls in this world are experiencing what you are feeling right now...
but the thing is, you aren't really sure if he likes you back...
not unless it came from his lips...
girl, you better play it safe...
don't maka a fool of yourself and don't jeopardize the friendhip by
confessing your feelings... good luck!
