i have been with my bf for 3 years and we live together. for the last year he wont have sex with me. we sleep in the same bed and do all things like any other couple apart from sex. i keep asking him whats wrong but he wont tell me. i really love him and dont want to leave him but i cant live a life without sex. what should i do?

There does come a time in most relationships, sadly, that sex slows down to the bare minimum...and in some cases stops. However, that said, three years is not a very long way into a relationship for this to happen.
There is something you have to face - He's obviously unhappy about something. This might be the sex itself, horribly it might even be you...but most likely is that he's unhappy with himself. Is he put on any weight recently? Do you think he might be ashamed of his body?
There is only one way to sort this and that is to talk about it. But you must make sure that you choose the right time to bring it up, because if he's genuinely unhappy about something you may upset him by mentioning it. Don't just blurt out "why don't we have sex any more?" or get defensive by saying stuff like "is it me?" because that will only make it worse.
Have you tried seducing him? Have you tried removing sex from the bedroom? Maybe he's too tired to have sex at night...maybe, just maybe, seducing him on the sofa, in the kitchen or somewhere secluded outside might get it going again. If he is unhappy about his body, fully clothed sex is the way ahead...and if he's too tired at night, sex during the day is the answer. To be honest, sometimes you just need to "kick start" it again - get things exciting again.
And no, just because you're not having sex does not mean that he's cheating on you - so don't jump to that conclusion because you could ruin what you have.
