Try crate training your dog. Dogs have accidents for a number of reasons (new environment, jealousy, etc.). If you dog is doing it when you leave or go to sleep put him in a cage during these times. Dogs will not go to the bathroom where they are forced to be for a significant period of time. This might seem mean to some people, but eventually the cage will act as a sort of peronal space for the dog, like a bedroom.
I have a black lab golden retriever mix and we crate trained him. Now he doesnt mind being in the cage and we havent had an accident since. Just make sure that he has plenty of water.

I swear, dogs go thru a little challenged regression in potty training just as children do sometimes. Kind of testing you out.

I would suggest crate training at nite and when you must leave the home. Also make sure you take the dog out regularly, after drinks, play time, meals and naps and when your dog does it in the yard, reward her with a treat and a lot of praise for it. Eventually, she will realize that going outside is when a reward in received.

Also, we found that our BC was having trouble "telling" us when she needed to go, so we put a bell on our back door (like jingle bells) and rang it each time we opened the door and let her out. Now she rings the bell to tell us when she wants out. We gave her a way to tell us and it works great.

Crate train...they usually don't mess in the crate. Make sure there is no health issues either. She might be mad or you arn't taking her out enough. Make sure you have a strict schedule with her going out for a while. That will help as well. Good luck.

all of the dogs i've had were house-trained when we got them, so this kind of surprises me.
anyway, here are the methods i know:
1.use a newspaper. keep on putting other newspapers underneath.(i do not like this method.)
2.crate training:put him/her in there. release her only when feeding. after eating, lead her outside to do his/her buisness.(your dog won't do his buisness in the crate. isn't that neat?don't forget to always have fresh water in the crate and always leave the door open:))
3.after every meal, take him/her outside and before and while he/she is doing his/her buisness, say, "Go potty"or"Better go now."
or go to www.loveyourdog.com andd click on Housetraining on the right-hand side.

hope this helps!:-)
