I've suffered migraines forever it seems, since I was a little kid, and I've never heard of this.
If you're like me, you'll try anything a first time to relieve the pain. Hell, give it a try and see what happens, but chocolate could be a trigger for you.
Any headache I get is a trigger for a migraine so the minute I feel any headache coming on I take three ibuprofen and go to bed or at least lay down and try to relax. It works 8 of 10 times for me.

I've never actually heard of using snickers bars in snickerdoodles, there actually isn't any chocolate in traditional snickerdoodles, they are a cinnamon cookie. 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon fine salt 1/2 cup shortening 8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened 1 1/2 cups sugar, plus 3 tablespoons 2 large eggs 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Sift the flour, baking soda, and salt into a bowl. With a handheld or standing mixer, beat together the shortening and butter. Add the 1 1/2 cups sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Add the eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the flour mixture and blend until smooth. Mix the 3 tablespoons sugar with the cinnamon in a small bowl. Roll the dough, by hand, into 1 1/2-inch balls. Roll the balls in the cinnamon sugar. Flatten the balls into 1/2-inch thick disks, spacing them evenly on unlined cookie sheets. Bake until light brown, but still moist in the center, about 12 minutes. Cool on a rack.

No; at least definitely at me it triggers migraine headaches. I found it a couple of months before, i realised that whenever i eat snickers it hit me a couple of hours later. So you have to find out which stuff triggers your migraine in your own specific life. Because it seems it has lots of versions. So i'm examining my triggers to reduce the risk. On the other hand my doctor told me about snickers it was the first thing that he asked when he saw that i have migraine.

I think I'd have to eat a lot of Snickers to get enough caffiene from the chocolate to help my migraines.

There is more truth in saying that some people get headaches, sometime sever, from not having enough sugar in their body. Therefor, any sugar consumption, whether snickers or whatever, will ease the headache.
