Jesus knew he was to be betrayed and who would betray Him. He encouraged Judas to go and turn Him in. He refused to defend Himself before the Pharisees, Herod, and Pilate.
"Not my will, but thy will be done." Jesus knew the course He was to follow. He arranged His own death.

NO. God arranged it. Jesus was just enlightened to the idea and knowledge that it was going to happen.
Remember that at one point, he almost willed that that cup be taken from him.
I thank God that did not happen.

that is a really good question. god had set up the way he was going to die...therefore jesus did not commit suicide. god sent jesus. god took jesus the way he wanted to. and yes he may have encouraged his death a little but i believe god told him to.

JESUS knew what HE was going to do when HE came to this earth. everything was worked out in advance, however, even though HE was DIVINE HE was a mortal man and until HIS death when THE HOLY GHOST - HOLY SPIRIT was released HE suffered as all mortals did.
