They don't. For the "Catholic Church" to forbid something, it has to be decreed via the Vatican - and nothing pertaining to airbags has been.

That isn't to say that some radical Catholic churches don't practice or condone the non-use of airbags, just that it really isn't fair to claim it to be a "Catholic Church" thing.

and I quote, John 2:12 "And the Lord said unto Moses, ye shall not drive with airbags, and so it was". There is absolutely no reference at all in the Catholic Church to having no airbags in your car.They save lives. Unless you are talking about something else.............. ??????

They forbid airbags?!

Maybe it's because they believe that if it is God's will for you to die then an airbag may safe your life. In which case, no advil, no tylenol, and no seatbelts either.
Odd. Didn't realize that was the case.
