i am in a really great and loving relationship with my fiance but my big sister seems determined on breaking us up... she tried convincing to break off my engagement but when i wouldnt she told my fiance some stuff about my past to put my fiance off... i cant understand y she is doing this as i just want everyone to get along...

can you say your sister is a bit of a controlling B****. if you love her then go for it so what anyone else thinks, if she did not get your fiance to change her mind with what ever she told her chance are that your fiance thinks your sister is a major pain in the ****!! What's your sisters problem...or does she know something about your fiance that would hurt you and she is trying to protect you..goddess only knows why she just wouldn't tell you.

Your sister is jealous of you, she may just feel like she is losing her sister, that is why her is doing this, sit her down and have a talk with her, find out what is her problem? Tell her that you would not do any thing like this to her, why is she doing this to you? Then you need to talk to your fiance, explain, that you do not know what has gotten into your sister, Tell him that it must be jealousy, because you can't think of anything else. Tell him I need you to work with me on this, because no telling what she is about to do next!

Is your sister jealous of you? I think that if your fiance really loves you he should pay no mind to your sister. You should tell her that you love her, but you need for her to understand that you are happy and that the things she is doing is very hurtful. I hope things get better!

Maybe she thinks he is bad for you.
Maybe she is secretly inlove with him.
Maybe she is scared of losing you.
Maybe she just doesn't want you to be happy.
Maybe she thinks he is bad for you.
Maybe she knows something bad about him that you dont.
Talk to her and make her understand that you are happy with this man and you intend to be his wife.
Ask her what troubles her about your relationship and listen to her and dont get upset. Maybe she has a really good reason for trying to break you up.Maybe she is just being spiteful. The only way you are going to solve this problem is to COMMUNICATE. Open up to her, but allow her to be honest and even blunt. When you both understand how the other one feels, you can sort it out from there.

What's up with your fiance? Did she sleep with him and feels that he's no good for you? Does she know something about his past and afraid to tell you, instead, she believe that she will cause less harm by breaking you two up? Ask her. Communication works best.

How are you engaged to another woman? Are you in England? I didn't think gay marriage was legal in the US. Don't get me wrong, I think civil unions are a good idea--medical decisions, insurance benefits, taxes, inheritence.... I just didn't realize you could get MARRIED!
