All dogs can smell drugs......"DRUG-DOGS" are trained to alert or "HIT" on the faintest hint of ANY drug that has ANY scent . And "drug-dogs " smell just like "normal" dogs do...I would say that if it has a scent - they can "hit" on it! They can even smell some drugs that are gone....like when you touch it...or like empty bags that once contained drugs!!! Most "drug-dogs" are very good at finding what they are "looking" for!!!

Drug dogs can pick up on drugs stashed in a gas tank with gas in it.

As far as i know the can be trained to small all kind of drugs. not just one kind.

They are trained to find all types of drugs. Pot, Cocaine, Meth., ect..
