firstly - STOP PANICKING !
all this stress, it will delay your period even if you are not pregnant. you are not being paranoid hun, you are just worried, its natural.
but being stressed always delays the period. (for me atleast)
usually the tests are pretty accurate, and if it is a negative, then just calm down and take a test again after a week.
i used to be always spot on time every month but started becoming irregular since last year, the doc told me it is natural, in mid-twenties or late twenties for the cycle to change a bit. so maybe you are going through a change !
if your period does not arrive for nearly a month, then i would advise you go to a doctor.
till then, dont stress yourself and be calm, eat well, and take that test again next week ok
good luck ...

An important question is sexual activity.
Sometimes it isn't accurate to simply say yes or no.
Symptoms can depend on the number of sexual partners, kind of sexual partners, birth control, birth control failure, kind of sex you are having and if abuse is involved. I think you can see, it can get pretty complicated to get all the information needed to give the best answer possible. Do you know the Sexual Health Status of you boyfriend?
With that said, here is my best answer to the common question of vaginal discharge.
A normal vaginal discharge consists of about a teaspoon (4 ML) a day that is white or transparent, thick to thin, and odorless. This is formed by the normal bacteria and fluids the vaginal cells put off. The discharge can be more noticeable at different times of the month depending on ovulation, menstrual flow, sexual activity and birth control.
It is not uncommon for the normal discharge to be dark, brown or discolored a day or two following the menstrual period.
However, if you are really worried you should seek a medical opinion.
The following medical conditions are some of the possible causes of Stomach cramps. There are likely to be other possible causes, so once more, ask your doctor about your symptoms.
Diarrhea
Constipation
Digestive infection
Viral infection
Irritable bowel syndrome
Lactose intolerance
Diverticulosis
Food poisoning
Get a pregnancy test carried out by a qualified person.

a test should have shown if you were pregnant or not at this stage but was it a reputable test (there are some on market at mo that are using technology to detect hormones which are years old). there are many things which can cause you to miss periods such as drugs (legal and illegal) infections, stress, viruses, or some times it can just happen. if you feeling tired / lethargic some cramping could you have an infection of sorts? have you a raised temp? I think you may have just had a very light period for some reason (did mention the discharge) but if you have any queries about anything contact nhs24 with any signs symptoms that you havent put here like was your discharge smelly? how long has cramping lasted? age? how long you been feeling tired? are you on any medication (legal or otherwise)? and they should give a better picture of if you pregnant or not

I think there is a very high chance that you are pregnant, especially, as you say, you are always on time and you know when it is about to start. The symptoms do sound a lot like early pregnancy. Either go to the Dr or take another test in about a week then you will know for sure.

It wud be better if you consulted your gyneacologist before getting panicky. These days they do have kits which give your results on 30th,31st days itself.I had this problem once.I tested positive the 1st time when tested on 31st day.i had to go out of station on an important visit,so I went believing i was pregnant. But after returning I was tested again by my gyneac. which came out as negative.I was told this is called "chemical pregnancy" and it happens at times. An ultrasound test also helps to reveal whether you are pregnant or not.I would like to stress again that you consult your Gyneacologist at the earliest to rule out any other possibilities.

If you tested 5 - 6 days after your period was due then thats fine. The test - as long as you did it accurately - is correct.
Can always do another. But to me sounds like not pregnant - just something else could be wrong. (Not trying to worry you). Just see your Doctor. You;ll be fine.

You had probably finished ovualting by the 28th although it is not unheard of to still get pregnant that close to your period (could you have concieved at an earler date?) Anyway, pregnant or not if the symptoms are unusual compared to normal and you say you have pain you should go to the doctor and get a proper diagnosis.

Wait a little while and take the test again. But remember that stress can cause you to miss a period as well so don't panic. If it goes two weeks over I say try a doctor.
