Here is an interesting poem for you:
Ode to the Spell Checker.
(A bit of doggerel for the computer-literate.)
Eye halve a spelling chequer
It came with my pea sea
It plainly marques four my revue
Miss steaks eye kin knot sea.
Eye strike a key and type a word
And weight four it two say
Weather eye am wrong oar write
It shows me strait a weigh.
As soon as a mist ache is maid
It nose bee fore two long
And eye can put the error rite
Its rare lea ever wrong.
Eye have run this poem threw it
I am shore your pleased two no
Its letter perfect awl the weigh
My chequer tolled me sew.

Who really cares if words are spelled correctly anyway? Are you also PERFECT? Or, are you another liberal, who likes to tell people how to live? I have answered this type of question many times before, and I always give the same exact answer to it. This site is exactly like a t.v. set, if you don't like what you are seeing, the turn the damned channel! Plain, and simple. And, as the young lady said, obviously you do not have "spell check" either. YOU spelled 'curious' wrong!!!!

Well, first off, you spelled curious wrong the first time, so I guess you haven't been using the spell check button either.
Second, how does it feel to be criticized just for asking a simple question?

Yes, we do. What you have to realize is that some people here are not in the U.S.A. and they just don't know the English language well. If you want just American, go to Yahoo answer home page and there is a little box on your left side and change it to USA only. I hope this helped you. Have a nice day!!

I have wondered about the same. Although, spell check does "lock up" at times, and I have to abort it and submit my question or answer with out it.

They either see it, and are too lazy to use it, or they just don't care. I just answered one that had a question about north Corea (North Korea)

No, people realize it, they just do not use it. That's the beauty of being human, we have a choice.
