I'm taking a friend out to celebrate her birthday last week, but I don't have a lot of money so I need somewhere fairly cheap (She's a good friend, she understands). I live in Wallington so somewhere near there, but reasonable with good food. Tall order I know, but any suggestions? The only pace I can think of is Nandos!!!!!

Zizzi in Sutton, or Wagamama in Croydon. Not too expensive, with a load of bars nearby afterwards.

If you like Italian, then Il Ponte in Sutton is quite reasonably priced, and the food is quite good in my opinion.
It's at the south of the high street, near the Pizza Hut etc.
If you want to splash out a bit, La Romantica on Mulgrave Road is another nice Italian :)

Definitely go for Il Ponte in Sutton, I ate there its the best place to eat in Sutton hands down, reaonably priced and the food is exceptional. The decor is modern, clean and comfy.
Its across the street from Pizza Hut but don't go there because I walked out of there whilst waiting to be served. Utter cunts in there.

You have GOT TO go to Mama Dumpling in Sutton.
Its the best Chinese in the whole world. I go from Epsom to Sutton to get takeaway from there!!
They do dim sum too.

Try Frankie & Benny's on Purley Way. Geat food and a good atmosphere. Also not very expensive at all.
