It all depends on ones own inclination and determination.
A lot of people clear IAS, many goes to IIM and IIT and there are people too who find it diificult to clear the sixth grade only.

Do not try to study from your books, just go through them, make some notes and study the notes.
once you have completely understood your own notes, only then try to study from the books.

JUST FOLLOW THE STEP OF YOUR TEACHER AND DO WHATEVER HE OR SHE SAY'S WITHOUT THINKING ANYTHING FROM U R SIDE TO CLEAR THE 11TH WITH GOOD RESULT.FOR ANY ENTERANCE EXAMINATION JUST TRY TO STUDY 4 HOUR ATLEAST FOR 4 DAYS IN A WEEK.THAT'S ALL
