For me, both cause the greatest heartburn, the suet in the pud and the pastry on the pie, but still I eat them, which one do you prefer and do you suffer for your pleasure.

It has to be pudding. I just love the way the suet soaks up all that yummy gravy. No I don't suffer apart from having it leave its mark on my hips LOL

Hi I like them both!!!!! but I can't eat them at the moment bacause I'm dieting and that won't help if I go eating suet pudding or pie will it.

It depends on the type of pastry in the pie. 9 times out of 10 I'd go for the pie though.

Neither. Both are poisoned with the devil food 'kidneys'.
Steak and ale pie or pudding, now that would be a question and I would like both. I am a fat bloater.

Pudding, every time, but would have to pick out the Kidney, love the gravy from it though!!!

If I had to pick it would be steak and kidney pie ... but I would probably pick off the pastry and pick out the kidney lol.
