I'm a Weimaraner owner ( originally form Ayrshire, now living in Aberdeenshire ), both my dogs are rescues and came from the Weimaraner Club of Great Britain.
Try getting in touch with them, they should be able to put you in touch with a reputable breeder in the Ayrshire area.
The rescue sometimes has pups come in, may even be worth considering giving a rescue Weimi a home. I got my youngest one from rescue at 3 months old.
Good luck, you have chosen to go for a stunning breed of dog, but be warned.....they are extremely hard work, very intelligent, demanding dogs, but i wouldn't swap my 2 for the world.
I pop over to Ayr to see my Mum now and again, if you'd like to meet my dogs, send me a message thru answers and i'll arrange to meet up with you next time i'm over that way.

Weimaraner or Weimaraner Vorstehhund - also known as 'The Ghost Dog' because of the colour of the coat and eyes.

Try buying the Dogs Today or Your Dog magazines. There is usually a section in the magazine with lists of reputable breeders and their breeds.

You could also try ringing the Kennel Club or trying their web site for information on Weimaraner breeders.

Your local vet might know of Weimaraner breeders in your area

If you can contact one or two breeders they might be able to give you details of breeders in Ayrshire.

Read up on the breed before you decide to buy one as they are lovely dogs but quite big, very active and will need proper training.

epups.co.uk allows dog breeders to list available litters. They also list where they are in the country. It's a really useful website! .Reputable breeders can be found on here as well as others so be sure to contact them and ask lots of questions regarding the puppies, they're parents and the breeders status. The kennel club website will arm you with suitable questions. good breeders will let you visit too.
As I have a weimaraner, i would STRONGLY recommend you have contact with one before you buy one as they a re extremely headstrong difficult dogs, particularly the bitches and you need a lot of time and patience to have a happy healthy well trained adult.

Contact the 'Kennel Club'. They will advise breeders local to you etc..
I think they are gorgeous but I understand that the breed can be very dominant and overbearing .This must be a breed for experienced dog owners and training sounds essential- due to the guarding nature you will need to avoid it becoming aggressive or you could end up having a troublesome dog.

If you can't even spell the name of the dog you want, I'd say you shouldn't be getting it.
PS its Weimaraner

Try epupz

Weimaraners are pretty difficult to train though...really naughty puppies!

Good luck!
