ABSOLUTELY!!! I fell for my guy without ever meeting him. But I kept an open mind when we did meet. You never know what will happen when you do meet. I mean, you might meet him and think, "What the heck was I thinking?!?!?!" But on the up side, you may meet and not be able to catch your breath, or feel your knees go weak, or have your head spin, or have your heart feel like it's going to explode from your chest. Fortunately, I personally felt all 4 when I met him. Now, we are very happy.
Just be sure you meet in a public place and have a friend call you about 30 minutes after your time to meet. Set up codes between the 2 of you, like "Hey let me call you back later," if all is going well. Or, "What? When did it happen? Ok, I'm on my way." if you need to escape. And be sure your friend knows where you are. If you decide to leave the original meeting place, let your friend know where you are going. I did this when I met my guy, and told my friend I would call them back later. However, I have used the "escape" phrases when I've met men in person I thought would be good to meet but weren't.

Sure, a good relationship is all about communication. If you already can talk to some one your ahead of the game. Attraction is about people sharing common interests and views. It is probably better in today's world to find someone you like before a physical relationship forms. My only concern with Internet dating is people who are out to harm you. Be careful, don't lend or give money, meet in a public place, for awhile make sure people now were your going to be and when to expect to hear from you.

i would have to say yes because there is a girl i meet through her brother at college and i have never meet her. we have talked on the phone and on yahoo messenger for three years now and we still have never meet. But i can't really do nothing right now because she has a boyfriend but we still talk and tell each other everything. Talking to someone before meeting is a good way to meet that special someone. Like you fell in love the this guy that you have never met, that just means that you fell in love with his inner self instead of falling in love just because of looks. Most relationships fail because they fell in love with the persons looks instead of what really matters in the other person. So yea you can, i in courage you to date him and see how you two really connect.
