I urgently need an electrical convertor which has got the following characteristics: 2 phase to 3 phase; 220/240V to 380V. Cause i bought an ID printing machine and it requires 380V 3 phase....PLEASE HELP!!!!

Unless you have your own electrical generator, I don't think you can have one that will convert 220/240 Volts to 380 ... where do you think it will create this extra voltage from? You can get sockets to convert from 2 pin to 3 or vice-versa but best thing to do is go to a good electrical shop or speak to a good electrician and ask them. Hope you find whatever it is you're looking for. :)

You can get single phase to three phase converters, but these are fairly large mechanical devices, though static ones are around. Usually three phase supplies are only needed for large industrial motors/motor driven devices although certain appliances will have the option of connecting to a three phase supply so they can take more voltage but use less current (in which case a step down transformer is inside the machine). Are you sure your printing machine doesn't have that option?

talk to an electrical contractor, and industrial electrician would be best. These people are trained professionals, and can not only point you in the right direction but they can install it for you too.
