It just shows how low the UK has sunk into moral decay.
This is what happens when your government and culture turns its back on God. If children are not tied to marriage then why not have them at 15 or 13 or 11 years old?

I am 16 and I watched it with my 14 year old sister. Charlotte absolutely horrified me...she resented and didn't care about that poor baby, it was so emotionally neglected. It should have been taken into care, for Charlotte's benefit as well as the baby's. She didn't know she was pregnant, so never had the option of termination, and clearly her parents wanted her to keep it even though she didn't. She should have had it adopted and left to be a kid.
I thought some of them were really good parents but if you have a baby at that age you can never hope to be a useful contributor to society unless you have a hell of a lot of support which most teenage mums don't. I think every teenager who gets pregnant should be made to go on that course run by the maternity nanny for at least a few weeks, preferably before the baby is born. Most of the girls clearly didn't have the foggiest idea of how to look after a baby.

I watched it and was disgusted. Poor little Sophie has no hope of growing up in a loving, well balanced household. She is going to grow in to another delinquent teenager just like her mother. She should be taken off Charlotte and given to a family who are desperate for a baby and will love her unconditionally. Charlotte is the classic bad example of a teenage mother, I know not all are as bad as her but I think she is the majority.
I think parents play a big part in this, I have a 5 year old daughter and I will do my best to make sure she is aware of everything when she is older at least then I will know I tried my best with her.

I think its every responsible parents nightmare. Good parenting can only go so far and you have to hope that you have done enough to make your children aware of how to make the right decisions. My daughter is 11 and she is starting to make new friends since starting high school. She is a really good girl although she has wicked pms ( yes , she started her periods at 10) but I don't know what sort of peer pressure she will be under as she gets older. I can give the facts and be available to talk and just hope that she gets through the next few years without too many problems. I have told her that she can't have sex until she's 30 and has a degree! I don't think she actually believes me though.

I had my oldest child at 14 and was nothing like the mums on that show last night i looked after my son by myself i went to work as soon as i could he attends school every day his attendance rate is 98% i didn't set out to get pregnant at that age i was just unwise to older people and there lies i would not say it was a good thing to do and i get angry when i hear kids saying they want a baby it was hard work and i lost out on a lot of my childhood but he is now a healthy, happy and polite 11 year old and would do it all again because he means much more than hanging out with mates outside the local shops i also get angry with programs like that because they have picked the worst they could find for better viewing and i wish people could see that not all young mums are the same i don't see myself as being anything like the girls from last night

No, didnt watch it, watched Top Gun instead.
But to be honest when I was 16-18 I always wanted a baby but the thing is, I made myself wait till I was the right age before I had one. I didnt want to ruin my child years or even the babies life by bringing it up in a world where I couldnt support it financially.
I am now at an age where I am able to bring up my child and she is 16 month and I am able to support her. I have a husband (her dad) and we are all able to do things together as a family and enjoy ourselves at the same time.
To all those teenagers out there thinking that they are old enough to take care ove something so precious as a baby, think long and hard about what you will be giving up and then what you will have to do in order to support your child. Its not all fun and games and they prevent you from going out when you want to go out.
Twenties are the better and safer years in your life to bring up a child. My friend had a baby at 16 but she has been able to do things and acheive things in her life. I might of worked for her but it doesnt always work for everyone.

It scares me because I have an eight year old who thinks she's a teenager. I've always taught her how hard it is to be a parent even if you have family support and I tell her tales of the things I got up to as a teenager and I hope she can see that she needs to do teenager things, clubs, gigs that sort of thing first. I didn't have her until I was 31 and I did everything I wanted and went everywhere I wanted to before I was ready to settle down, she says she doesn't want any but we'll see in a few years! Charlotte last night did my head in! Spoilt little c**! Didn't deserve her baby.

yes some think its cool to have a baby at 14 but other might do it as a cry for attention or because they haven't been properly educated on sex and contraception. I don't think young mums should be judged for their age because you never know they could turn out to just as good a mum if not better than any other mother. However they do put their education and chances of making themselves and their children a good life in jeopardy if they have a child to care for 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

i watched in horror, i cant believe there own parents attitude towards the young girls, my mum and dad would have killed me. i think nowadays it is the must have, they see people walking about with prams and think i could do that then they realise is more than taking them out 4 a walk every now and again. it really puts us mums to shame. i know that when my girls are older il be letting them watch something like that b/c it should be enough to put them off for life and Charlotte was a typical teenage well should i say child she was never mature enough to become a mum

The solutions are easy
1)Mandatory pill injections
2)Prosecution of minors especially for underage sex.
3)If a "father" is unable to provide maintenance, then the parents are liable.
This will soon chnage peoples ideas about condoms, and crap like it doesn't feel natural. I always used condoms.
If these kids think they are adult then they should take responsibility for their actions.
For gawds sake at that age your i think your most fertile, so I dont know who spreads this first time you dont get pregnant rubbish.
I couldn't believe the parents seem to absolve themselves completly and blamed society!!! We are society.
When I was young it was "just say no" to drugs and cigs, kids today need the same lessons. they should make all kids wtach this. Also make boys watch the baby actually coming out, that'll help keep those hormone raging boners in check.
