Both are very effective. It depends on personal preference. The roll-ons are less wasteful because all of the product goes where it is meant to. However, they can be sticky and a bit wet, so you end up looking like you're doing a birdie dance trying to dry it! Aerosols (sprays) are not wet or sticky but can be powdery and leave white marks. They are also more wasteful because a lot of the spray ends up in the air, which is stinky and leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Aerosols are harmful to the environment, but roll ons can case blocking in the pores and cause boils and spots.
Both are as effective as the other, it's down to personal preference and how long you want to wait for the roll on to dry.
I go for Soft and Gentle spray deodorant, the aromatherapy scents.

I find roll on are more effective for me. Sprays seem to irritate my skin and never protect me long enough and leave white marks.
the difference is you can share your spray with anyone but it is UN hygienic to share a roll on. i find roll on last longer than a spray as well.

the roll ons make it easier and it protects you from having BO for much longer thank sprays...spray you keep having to spray because it is not so effective as roll ons

roll - ons last much longer throughout the day and are more effective as anti - perspirants, spray - ons are more temporary and mask any already existing bo

Sprays can harm the air, yours more than others though as the chemicals get up your nose and who knows what they are doing.
I use dove solid and love it.
