Always try to find someone closer first, believe me if you look hard enough that special person is around. Long distance relationships especially if you have not met and they are from another country is difficult. The letters are good and you will fall in love with her, but it is different once you meet, some of us can portray a different person in our writing and we even look different in our photo's to real life, in letters we can also hide our faults very well. Good luck, been there done that, she even wanted to give up her job to stay at home and have me to support her andpay for the renovation on her unit, things we do for love!!!

For intending couples or persons getting married, it is not advisable. I believe the near the warmer. If couples are close they may be able to study each other well and understand them selves. There are prevalent cases of reuined or aborted relationshps/marriages as a result of long distance. Long distance creates gaps in communication and lack of trust. For humans the success factor is less than 1%.I don't subscribe to it

Distance makes the heart grow fonder. This occurs when the love is deep and/or the commitment is firm.
Out of sight; out of mind. This is usually the result 99% of the time because there is no commitment there. Relationships are largely exploitive. My needs, my lonliness, my horniness, etc. I love you as long as you meet my needs, kind of relationships. Not that anyone admits this; but, when it comes to push or shove, it proves to be the way it really is.

No. There is no substitute for being with each other physically. Although absence makes the heart grow fonder, the distance will eventually put a strain on your relationship.

I don't think so..they rarely work out because of the "distance" and a lot of suspsicon builds up since you never know what will happen..

it depends on the people and what happens in the future --- i dont know if they work -- i hope so because i am in one at the moment.
I dont want it to stop and i plan on being together with one or the other moving countries
If there is real connection then distance is not an obstacle

HELL NO - especially if its a new relationship. I personally like the physical side: kissing and touching etc. So when someone is far away I fear they are getting it from someone else and know I will be tempted to look elsewhere.
Out of sight out of mind
