Shut up. Live with it. That's how you look now and for the future. Don't change your appearance by using whitening pills otherwise you're a loser and a disgrace to your heritage. Stay natural!

Do you realize how many of us are jealous of you? Lighter skin shows imperfections more and irritates easily. Embrace your beautiful skin and use the correct colors of clothing around your face. Pinks, reds, violets, bright blues, jewel tones, silver jewelry, and diamonds! Don't use browns or oranges on your face. Use pinks and roses. You can also wear a berry or blue red lipstick. Stay away from khaki colors, olive and peach or ivory. Only use black mascara. Even if your skin gets lighter, it will still have an ashy tone because you probably have some Mediterranean backround in your blood which usually causes this tone. (Even if you are African American) Pills and whitening creams can backfire and make a bigger problem. You sound exotic and sweet. Be proud and happy with how you look because us light skinned girls would love to have your skin!

u have posted 3 ?'s in such a short span of time. Well u r having inferiority complex. First on ur looks, next boyfriend. u r just 18. This is the age when u need lots of positive thinking. To be dark is also a beauty. That is all God's creation. Live with it and accept it. U will get a boy friend for ur good nature.

Oh gosh, do you know how much i envy people with tanned skin? I can never get a tan without burning my face so thank God for ur skin!! Its sexy and makes you look healthy instead of pale. And being fair can make you look like a ghost in some pictures under bright light.

how can u hate it????tanned skin is seriously sexy....
light skin???come on,u have no idea of how prone light-skinned people are to skin cancer.ur melanin provides u so much protection.be happy and thank God for it.
if u really want to do "disguise" it or something, wear clothes that suit u.that way,ppl wont look at ur colour(as if ppl still do that!!!),they'll instead appreciate u for ur true beauty cuz everyone is beautiful in their own way.
in any case,i think u r a beautiful person.....i will say that even tho i have never seen u cuz most pretty ppl i've seen dont even know that they're pretty and its really plain-looking or "ugly" ppl who think they're gorgeous.
wok more on your self-esteem.
good luck and dont worry too much abt it......*hugs*
bless u!

Trust me, I'm pasty as all get out. I wish I had tanned skin. Not only do you look great all year long, but you have more melanin (pigment) in your skin, which causes the color, which doubles up as a natural cancer-blocker. Thank your ancestors, who lived in sunnier parts of the globe for your ability to avoid cancer better then people like me. I have had several people in my family diagnosed with different skin conditions and cancers and such, and I wish I had darker skin because of it. Did I mention it was sexy to boot??

tan is now in trend...celebrities like Britney Spears, Angeline Jolie etc all go for Tanning their natural fair skin...
you shud know that tanned skin or dark skin is healthier than fair skin..its more resistant to the damage caused by the uv rays and thus the rate at which the sking grows older is lower than that of the fair skin..which is more vulnerable to the sun rays.
and tan is sexy...beyonce...tyra...hally berrie..
all you can do is eat healthy food and lots of fruits and vegetables to make you sking lusturous and smooth..

There is nothing wrong with tanned skin. My gf is slightly tanned and I love it. I think it's a pity if you use medicine or some chemical stuff to ruin it.
Make sure you wear nice clothes and that you like your haircut and suddenly you'll find out you look great.

I am very fair-skinned, and people keep telling me I need to spend more time in the sun, which is very irritating since I simply can't really tan. Dark doesn't mean dirty!

Shut up. As if.
Be damn proud of your heritage. I am proud of mine. Besides, being pale isn't so great. I'm so pale I'm nearly translucent and I hate it. I get sunburned after 3-5 minutes in the sun, it oes red easily, I'm more prone to skin cancers... why the hell would you wish it on you?
Taking whitening pills is unnatural and just plain stupid.
