1. Anything as X as the Universe must have been created
2. God was not created
3. therefore, God is less X than the Universe

If you're a Christian, I assume that you believe statement #2, and if you believe in ID, presumably you can find an adjective (perfect, wondrous, etc.) that can be used to replace the X in statement #1 to create a statement which you believe, such as "anything as wondrous as the Universe must have been created". If you replace the X in statement #3 with the same adjective, logic dictates that either the resulting statement ("God is less wondrous than the Universe" in my example) is true, or that statement #1 or #2 is actually false.

Would anyone care to either 1) refute my logic, or 2) give me a value for X which creates three statements above, all of which you believe?

Refute your logic. We have all become so adept at labels. Grouping people ALL together in neat little packages makes us more comfortable somhow. Comfy maybe, accurate, not a chance. Short-sighted, yes. Incapable of learning something new, emphatically. Why not ask what you really want to ask and maybe then we can answer intelligently?

Hollow argument.

Anything as young as the universe must have been created
God was not created
Therefore, God is less young than the universe.

In this case, I don't believe my number three, but someone out there who does can feel free to use it. This doesn't even begin to describe the flaws in your logic, all of the implied assumptions you've made with no basis.

I know we don't really know how it all start, big bang etc. But just because we don't know does not mean that proves god. If you can assume god was always there, then with the same logic you can assume life was always there. The one weak link with god is, nobody ever has seen or spoken to him, just people claiming they did, no proof. This link makes more sense to me; http://www.godisimaginary.com/

I think your logic is faulty.

You set up a false premise by having the same variable in #1 and #3. Just because you set it up does not mean it is logical.

Peace and Blessings,

Using your simple human brain to attempt to define God again? You know it cannot be done so just stop.

You think you've come up with something clever but your rambling makes you sound like a fool.
