I am looking to purchase a studio lights set. which make is a better make for ease and quality? do either have any advantages/disadvantages? what is the best set up up for glamour and portratiture? if budget was not a problem what set up would give ultimate results useing a sony R1 camera?

Can't be of specific help, but my 'other half' has been freelance for 19 years & swears by Elinchrome.

Hope you get some sensible answers to help you make the right decision.
