Semester hours for Air National Guard?

Ok, to get an advanced rank in the air national guard upon enlistment, it says you need 20 semester hours or 30 quarter hours... what does this mean?

Lets say I have 18 college credits, how many semester hours is that?

That depends on your school. All schools break their education down. 18 college credits could mean that you have taken 18 college classes, or that you have taken 6 classes (6 classes x 3 semester hours per class).

Ask your school guidance counselor, or check your transcripts. Your transcripts will be required to prove the college hours.
