Smoking only when the train stops and time permits. They are usually announced.

The bar car closes at midnight. It's your party, but if you go over the line to obnoxiously intoxicated they will be happy to put you off at the next stop into the waiting arms of what ever law enforcement agency has jurisdiction, and you will be arrested for public intoxication and jailed. Party over. So is the trip.

But, I think you'd like it, considering the occasion, especially if the party member(s) are traveling with you.

Rooms are available, and highly recommended, but are costly. If you can swing it, do it.

Good luck and congratulations on the impending nuptials, and have a safe trip.
