About 3 weeks ago she would smile at me down the halls. Well I pretty much developed a crush on her. On Friday I finally forced myself to confront her. She was REALLY SHY I am also a shy person myself and for this to work I'm gonna work on losing this. But everytime she seems me down the halls now she kinda blushes and turns toward her friend. I try to say Hi but can never get her to face me. I'm thinking of starting another conversation but I'm not sure if she likes me or not at this point.

Basically when I confronted her Friday she spoke very softly and then we ran into one of her friends and she choked up a bit when I asked for her name. I then told her mine.

What should I do? Confront her and spark another conversation or try to somehow get or to say Hi? And if so how can I get her to say Hi. Please help =/

Again I seriously hate the answers that are telling me to ask her out. I already know that will scare her off immediately. I want to get comfortable with her first.

Aww you seem like a nice guy, and I'm sure she noticed that too. Plus you said she was smiling the whole time and blushed, so that's definitely a good thing. I know when I was in HS I was pretty shy too, she's probably just nervous like yourself. If she really is shy, she's probably waiting on you to make initiation. It's good you talked to her once already, so you know her name. Have you asked any of your friends about her, if they know what her interests are or who she hangs out with. That might help when bringing up a conversation. YES you should confront her again, maybe meet her at a locker and ask if you could eat lunch together or hang out/study afterschool. Just be confident in yourself, girls like that. Think about it this way, what's the worst that could happen? I know sometimes my shyness held me back in the boyfriend department early on...You'll never know unless you find out-do you want to take that chance-or the chance to have a cool relationship with this girl?

to be trustworthy you dont look that involved - i propose for godsake you're score her already. she is in all probability freaking out at you, when you consider which you're sort of freaky - whether cant say-as I definitely have in no way considered you... you sound very youthful, and with the intention to have a female buddy you ought to strengthen up - so doe that first and then seek for a chook!
