I was dating this guy for about a year and a half on and off. The very last time i spoke to him (which was a while ago) he told me how much he loved me, wanted to marry me and spend the rest of his life with me. He said he's call the next day and never did. that was the last i ever heard from him, though friends of mine have seen him since, so I know that he is still around. Why would a guy say this and then never speak to you again?

I don't know why are you burning your blood for such an a$$hole.Go find another guy.You will find plenty of other guys who will be a hundred times better than him.

From what you said clearly he was just playing. some people are like that, they don't take things seriously at all. they don't care about other ppl's feelings. He is just a d**k u didnt mention so i assume u dont love him then just move on don't need to think about him at all ever again. I'm sure you will find someone who would tell you he loves you and wants to spend the rest of his life with you AND shows up the next day, the next next day...Good luck honey!

i mean if someone did that then ignore them completely after promising to contact them then only one thing springs to mind...

maybe he didnt want to hurt your feelings because he cares for you but theres something else with someone else that he needs to deal with now,he might not want to hurt you cuz he really does care for you and want to be with you but theres someone in the way. or maybe he's full of sh*t like the girl above said! theres lots of reasons why people say and do two different things. your best bet would be to get ahold of him and ask him for the truth if its really buggin ya, but remember no man is worth the stress and there are plenty of men available so dont let one little boy blind you of the possibilities out there.millions of men to choose from you just need to get out there, you cant sell a product if ya dont advertise!f*ck him he obveously is confused with his pathetic little life and dont even know what he wants, and you cant expect a guy to give you what you want if he dont even know what he wants! move on sister you dont need that kinda drama in your life!

The only reason a guy would say things like that and just dissapear, is because he saw the sex in your eyes, thauth he'd score and got nothing for his effort. most guys also feel to pressured to not say that they feel nothing or don't wish for the relationship to continue and run cause of the whole fight or fllight thing and some guys just aren't built for the commitment and responsibility that the relationship brings. needless to say some of them also enter relationships often for convenience, and own pleasure

i think he is not serious about you. i do have this kind of experience before and he is my 1st bf although we broke off for 10 years already but what he did still hurt till now.
pull yourself up and break off with you and you might find someone better.

He's either scared, or when he actually said it out loud to you he didn't feel like he thought. You should really ask him, only he knows the answer to that question.

Whrn he asked about love and marriage,then that was his indepth desire and love.After very next moment they were his surroundings which were responsible for present situation. Now don't wait for him ,open your heart for another prospective guy of your liking.
