I am currently in a long distance relationship, and now I am going to work out at the local gym with a friend that use to be a friend with benefits. Is there anyway this can work or have I totally lost my mind? Of course I'm not telling the bf and I was honest with the friend telling him I have a bf so it's strickly friends and no benefits.

Yeah, you've lost your mind, if you ever had it. This scenario can't work; it's a disaster just waiting to happen.
The only way this could work out would be if it were the basis of a Hollywood movie.

Deceive the current bf and confide in the old bf. Jeez, you're a real piece of work.

You need to work out with someone else. Old flames linger on so easy, and you long distance boyfriend will respect your decision. Would you want him working out with a girl he had been intimate with? That should answer your question.
