Dear Xmadartis--The Bible tells us why. The Lord speaks to us in His Word and He knows what is good for us; therefore, He tells us why going to a church in our head is not good enough.

Hebrews 10:25
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Hebrews 10:24-26

1 John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

When we receive Christ we become a member of His Body. We need each other. It is no different than our hand needing our fingers, our neck needing our head. We need each other. A lot will happen as we meet together, not only in a large congregational setting but also in small groups of believers. There will be a deep sence of happiness.

While most people identify the word "church" with a building or denomination, the meaning of the Greek word for "church" in the New Testament is an assembly of people. People coming together to fellowship around Christ.

I hope that answers your question.
Blessings to you.

As far as you feel happy then you don't need to go anywhere else. Religion should make people happy and a church is where you should five spiritual happiness, peace, and hope. If you receive it in any temple, church, mosque or synagogue, then you don't have to look elsewhere. That's where you should stop to start a spiritual journey.

You are correct. You don't need to worship in a temple to worship. You are actually supposed to worship in your own home and make your home the home of god as well. You should be in a state of constant prayer (that is what I call it), because God knows it all anyway. Why not give permission on your own will. This shows a higher faith in god than most of the churchgoers who are evil the whole rest of the week.

Ask Christ and the Apostles, they started it. Of course, they were more places of learning, rather than worship, with the except of Niacin 14. If you think they were wrong, than you may have a point.

It's nice to be happy inside your own head, but it's still a good idea to socialize so you don't become too insane. Thanks for checking in today. I'm fine, thanks.

Because there is no collection plate. No religion will accept you or your beliefs without your filling their pockets.
