Loves Oath
Sometimes I think of the outside world,without my little niece,
She was my brothers missing puzzle,but now we lost that piece.
I think about her all the time,I wish that she was here.
Couldn't sleep,couldn't morn,lost in every tear.
I can see her in my mind,playing with all of her toys.
Christmas time by the tree,followed by a happy noise.
But it almost is November,oh how I miss her so.
So I wrote this little rhyme,just to keep my oath.
But my love for you is now,and will always last forever.
So now I tell my little niece,rest well on this november.
I know it has been four years,since you left this world.
Karissa Nicole,you'll always be our lovely little girl.
So I wrote this little poem,to tell you how I feel.
Karissa Nicole,I love you now,and I always will.

Some people get jealous,With souls not so true.
But my words are for meaning and heart,not witten as a toy.

You are both an amazing poet and a sensitive person... (which I find to be very impressive!) You need to try to get your work published!
I will tell you from the honest truth of what I think about this poem... I think that you are trying to let go of the pain of past without forgetting the loss, this is so important in the grieving proces. I think that you have made a wonderful talented piece by letting the process take it's course. You should ALWAYS write from the bottom of your heart, and always write about pains to try to help heal them...

i absolutely loved it. it is so sweet and sad at the same time. i write poems all the time and have mine copy writted. maybe you should get your oath copywritted too. otherwise there might be people out there that will say that they wrote it and just change the name. but all in all i thought it was absolutely great. i loved it. i give it a 10/10. great work

your keeping your oath to her and im sure she knows. there will be no peom, no words, no tears that will be enough to express how you miss yr neice. the loss of someone young always hurts the deepest and scars the most.
