open the hood and locate the windshield washer reservoir

a) make sure it is filled, if not, then fill it
b) if it is filled, then follow the bottom of it, there is a plastic small hose, make sure it has not come loose, or that there is not a hole in it.

I had mine cut, i dont know how, but that fixed the problem.

Four parts to the system – reservoir or tank, pump, tubes and or hoses and the nozzles. I assume you checked the fluid level, so it’s down to the other three. If you can “hear” the pump operating and no fluid comes out – then its most likely a clog in the nozzles, which can often be cleared by using a pin to clean out the nozzles that sit just forward of the windshield. If you don’t hear the “pump” noise, yes, its possible that it is a fuse, but the pump takes such a small amount of current that it is usually shared on another fused circuit and therefore some other electrical item on the car would not work. Most likely a bad pump. You can go to Toyota, or go to an auto parts store and get an inexpensive universal replacement pump – about $10 -15 and put it in yourself. It is also possible that you have a wiring problem to the pump so if you could check that there is voltage at the pump connection when the button is pressed, this would confirm it’s the pump and not something else.

If you have fluid you might have a blocked nozzle or a bad pump motor. You should check the fuses, but Toyota fuses normally protect several electrical functions. If all others work it's probably not the fuse.

You can normally clean the nozzles with a straight pin.

first see if resevoir bottle is full of solvent, then see if fuse is blown, then remove hose from washer nozzle and press button to see if solvent sprays out of hose, if it does then the nozzles at windshield are clogged and need to be blown out, if it doesn't spray out the washer pump may need replacing, if you can hear pump buzzing with key on and button depressed then the pump is working, if you don't hear anythng but and you've tested the pump, then the switch on steering column is bad. good luck

Could be a clogged or broken line. Is the reservoir full?
