From Evening To Morning, That's Just A Few Hours, Less Than 24. If A Day Is 24 Hours, How Does The Bible Count The 7 Days Of Creation? "There Came The Evening, There Came The Morning, It Was The 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th Or 7th Day". Why Couldn't It(The Bible) Count Them(The Days Of Creation) Starting "Morning" And Ending "Evening"?

Here is something to get you thinking, the light spoken of in Genesis 1 that was created on the first day, what light was that, cause as far as my knowledge goes, the sun was only created the third or fourth day? I have gave many answers stating that the bible is not a literal book and to answer my own question the light in the first day was the first time you heard of this word, this spiritual word and when you start understanding the deeper, spiritual meaning of this words you will start living it every moment, second in your life and the bible will only be a guideline but your own life will be the story, God created into your mind.
To get back to your question is there not always darkness before there was light? God did not create the darkness it is and always was, but he did create the light, wich means he created understanding cause He is the wisdom He gives the wisdom, and for that reason as soon as you dont understand something it becomes a darkness in your life, you are confused and by being confused you start to enquire about things, you need answers and there are some who can give you these answers. And as soon as your confused mind is unpuzzled (You got and answer) you understand the deep meaning of the bible) then only can there be light.

Do cons ever ask genuine questions that must be resolved by debate? Or, do they simply hide Obama bashing as questions? which comprise: isn't Obama the worst President ever? are you able to suspect how stupid Obama is? And, now Does Obama ever tell the fact? in addition, you ought to ascertain questions approximately Bush with a similar effect: replaced into Bush the worst President in historic previous? Why did Bush lie lots? My factor is this isn't a real question. this is a rant. break all of it the way down to smaller factors, cite examples of guy or woman subjects and initiate up a debate. as an occasion, you ought to declare: the day formerly on the instant, Obama mentioned X approximately difficulty Y. yet, then he did some thing else. What replaced into his motivation? with out making a factor, your question is pointless. Sorry.

Think you got confused by the words starting evening and ending morning or from evening to morning. It's not that short. It's 24 hours.

"And there was evening, and there was morning-the first day." Genesis 1:5b (NIV)

"So the evening and the morning were the first day." Genesis 1:5b (NKJV)

"And there was evening and there was morning, one day." Genesis 1:5b (NASB)

"It was evening and it was morning, one day." Genesis 1:5b (Jewish Torah translated)

So basically you intepret the scriptures wrongly.

The correct way of intepreting Genesis 1:5,8,13,19,23,31 is that one day is 24 hours because it consists of evening and morning. A new day in God's eyes and Jewish beliefs starts in the evening, the latter part of the day is morning. I was in Israel and I learnt of this. In Judaism, a day is not from midnight to midnight but from sunset/sundown to sunset/sundown. Thus Sabbath, which is Saturday, begins at sundown Friday night. And Sabbath is the 7th day so their new week starts on our Sunday. Interesting.

Well the bible started from the Jews so you can't force them to change their concept of day and night.

The Bible says that to God one day is as our thousand years, so when it says in the Bible and it came to be evening and it came to be morning then we know it is talking about a literal day, and not the thousand year day of God

1) creation's Days were not meant as Literally days...

2) remember there hasn't always been clocks.

3) ... makes sense to me

whats the difference? its not specific hours, but gross symbolic, metaphorical delineations of time.
