Hi! I met my fiance in an internet chat room for Christian singles. I have a friend who met her husband in a yahoo chat room. I suggest finding a chat room that is on the topic of some of your common interests. This will allow you to meet someone your age and then you will have something to talk about. :) Just give it time and it will happen. I wasn't expecting to meet my guy, but it just happened. :)
You also need to make sure you are getting social activity beyond the internet. Find a church, hobby/interest group, service club, etc. Give to your community. Not only will you grow as a person and become the kind of person another is looking for... but you will also meet self-sacrificial people who care more about others than themselves... A key principle to happy relationships! :)

Try the classified of your local paper. You just may find the love of your life. Or maybe the computer dating services like match.com or yahoo personals. I wish you the best of luck. Its not easy finding a permanent love match in life especially if you are older like myself in the mid forties. Fortunately I have found the love of my life in the most unlikely place eight years ago. You will too, have faith!

let's see..church, social gatherings, friends, the grocery store. The world is a ripe field of strawberries just waiting for someone to pluck them up and take a sweet delicious nibble out of them. Don't think that becuase of the hype of online dating services that it is the only way to find your one... i found mine in a yahoo chat room and knew we were soul mates.. Good luck darling!

no, because first of all you shouldnt have to pay for love. i think you are trying way too hard to find love! i think that you should quit searching for that"special someone", especially if you are going to pay for it. let love find you. it happened to me, the love of my life was a good friend of mine for 3 years before i realized he was the one, i also was constantly searching for love, i couldnt wait to find it, instead i wound up with one jerk after another. i had just about decided i would die a lonely old woman with a bunch of cats!!! then... WHAM, it hit me so hard that it still makes my heart flip to think about him!! that was almost 3 years ago. be patient,stop looking and when you least expect it youll be head over heels. good luck to you,its worth the wait
