you can try putting some makeup on it. also i heard if you take a spoon and put it in the freezer for awhile, then take it out and gently rub it on the hicky. when the spoon starts to lose its coldness, put it back and repeat. supposedly this gets the blood flowing and makes the hicky look a little less conspicuous.

i think the only way you can really get it to go away is to just give it time though. good luck. a dog bit me on the face earlier today and now it looks like i have a giant hicky on my cheek. i feel your pain.

Since a love bite is basically a bruise, try Arnica Cream by BHI (homeopathic and very potent) during the day and at night before you go to bed, rub Vitamin E oil (use only pure form with no adulterants). It won't go away overnight but it will fade quicker than if you didn't do anything about it.
Good luck!

Try toothpaste and then some ice. Nothing will really get rid of it quickly - it's determined by how quickly your body heals from bruising. If you're in the northern hemisphere, you should be able toget away with wearing a scarf or high-necked jumper by now, shouldn't you?

There isnt a way to get rid of them. Only covering up with makeup or high collars! They are caused by bringing blood to the surface of the skin, sorta like a bruise!

There's not much you can do other than make-up, but you can try putting some ice or a spoon that's been in the freezer for a while on it. It might help a little bit, but really that's about it.

I don't know of anyway to get rid of them, its caused through blood to be brought to the surface of your skin by sucking of cause. The only way I know to hide them is to use make up.
Use a concealer and a little liquid make up over the top.

this is a bruise so it's going to take days to heal. placed on concealer and liquid commencing place on it - and placed on a sprint on your face so it blends and does not stand out as being the only place the place you have makeup. airborne dirt and mud with unfastened powder so it is not bright. And tell your boyfriend to not do it back.

if it's less than a day old, put ice on it to reduce blood flow (a hickey is basically blood vessels leaking blood because they were damaged from the sucking). if it's more than a day old, put heat on it to increase the absorption into the surrounding tissue.
