i can't believe that so many people are actually so narrow minded...how is it a sin to love somebody? people that dwell too much upon how 'wrong' it is to be gay should be focusing on the real negative issues...the fact that somebody is gay doesn't mean that the person is bad or good. this person is just different. and it's not their choice. how limited your thinking is when you say that it is someone's choice to be mostly an outcast in the society? we r all a bit 'not normal' and we r afraid to be more insane than others. that's y so many of us try to find a 'sin' or a 'fault' in someone else rather than look at ourselves. but here is the thought. as long as our so called 'faults' (which is really being 'different' -which is actually most of the time called 'being original') don't hurt anybody, how can u actually say that it is bad? it is awesome to love somebody no matter what the bible says. bible says that sex itself is a sin. but people should think carefully when reading it. i do not believe that sex for the love's sake is bad. obsession with sex is wrong. and you man! if u r gay, so what? don't ask people what is a sin and what is not. think for urself. god talks thru u. as long as u make choices that don't hurt others, they r right choices. b proud of who u r and be real. i have never had problems with gay people nor have i thought they are some kind of sinners. take care and spread love. all the best.

It is God who condems homosexuality, He calls it an abomination.
As for those forbidden thing that people don't pay attention to today anyway - God doesn't change. If He said something was forbidden then, not only is it forbidden now, but also forbidden tomorrow. Just because people don't pay attention doesn't mean they are no longer forbidden. In other words, a whole lot of people will have some really rude awakenings when God's judgement is passed on the earth.

We say that because God's word, the Bible says it is. Read the following verses if you really want to know.
Lev. 18:22 Lev.20:13 Rom 1:18-32 I Corth 6:9-11 I Tim 1: 9-11
It clearly states that homosexuality is wrong & a sin. As far as I'm concerned I am not your judge, God is. If a person feels "gay" what makes it a sin is when he or she acts on it, just like any other sin. If a man likes a women & wants to sleep with her, that's bad enough. But when he act on it that is worse. Just please read the verses.

Christians should consider the Word of God final in particular reference to the right ways to behave and also the values we are to hold.
God has never condemned homosexuals. God has labelled homosexual acts as forbidden. As God set out the marriage laws that a man and a woman may marry (provided they are not related etc. as described in the BIble), any gay relationship which involves homosexual acts would be outside the boundaries of a marriage and therefore considered fornication (sex before marriage) which God has not allowed.
While homosexual relationships largely does not affect anyone else other than those who are in the relationship, Christians who have read the Bible (Leviticus deals with all this) and understand what God has said will know that any homosexual relationship involving homosexual acts is against Gods law. So despite the fact it hurts no one it is wrong in the eyes of the Lord.
Christian behaviour, however, should be compassion and love. God does not tolerate any sin andf therefore despite the nature of our sins we are all guilty homosexual and heterosexual alike. The only way for us to truly accept what Jesus has done for us is to give up our sinful lives as best we can and walk His path.
In order for a homosexual to follow this path they must cease to involve themself in a homosexual act as they desire. Similar to how any straight man or woman should not engage in a sexual act outside of a marriage.
I do not know personally why God has made these laws, but do not dare to challenge my Creator nor do i wish to question His supreme justice. For it is His laws and rules by which He will question us on judgement day, and not my laws and rules, so I am wise to respect His wishes and obey Him.

Those gay bashers are not spiritual men, for god cries at this world. He is the father, He is the almighty and his word is final, homosexuality is not acceptable. We will not bash, we will not condemn for the lord says judge not. However homosexuals condemn themselves and if you care anything about their souls then you will warn them that their decision is an eternity in hell.
We do not make the rules we only follow them. No, homosexuality is an evil spirit, those who have fallen had a purpose for god and were led astray by the allures of this evil. It is not natural, it has no part with god for he made all men upright but we have gone astray for many schemes.

The part of your question that I can answer with absolute certainty is YES God loves you!
My feeling is that God doesn’t want any of us, gay or straight, to be obsessed with sex, giving in to every whim and desire, treating other people as mere objects of gratification. You look at all the straight people who treat women as sex objects. That can’t please God. I truly don’t understand the fixation that some Christians have with Gay issues when there is so much more depravity among straight people, simply because there are more straight people.
As Christ said, take the log out of your own eye.

BEING gay is not wrong, but homosexual ACTS are the real issue. But let's not let heterosexuals off the hook here--the Bible has a lot to say about sexual morality that applies very much to heterosexuals as well--I think there's a lot that's not being said about chastity outside of marriage, but there are a lot of heterosexual Christians who justify their "extracurricular" behavior on the grounds that God will forgive them. But it totally misses the point. The questions I pose to both heterosexuals and homosexuals are, "Whose will are you seeking? And who are you trying to please, yourself or God?" I've come to the conclusion that God calls homosexuals to live a life of chastity, focused on Him--but God also never intended for every heterosexual to get married or have sex, either. God calls some heterosexuals to be celibate and to focus on deepening their relationship with Him instead of with a marriage partner. What matters isn't what we want, but what God wants for us.

God loves the gays just as much as he loves anyone, they are people like anyone else.
He say it's not right to live like that though in his word. Look at the genetics, the vagina and the penis are meant and built perfectly for eachother, males and females are opposite and become one when they have sex. That's how it is. Just take what I'm saying but when it comes to it, it's between you and God, just keep your mind open and talk to God and he'll speak to you and guide you.
In Christ your brother

All sex outside of marriage is wrong, according to Old and New Testiment.
Being "gay" alone is not necessarily wrong.
Being sexually active can be wrong.
Of course, according to Old and New Testiment eating a Pork Chop is wrong.
Why is it so many Christians have Easter Hams!

No, He did not make you that way. Things of the flesh are chosen by us. And two wrongs do not make a right. As the afore answers should enlighten you, it is wrong in Gods eyes and you have another choice. You can choose to disobey God.
