I'm a college student, I have two jobs (three if you count babysitting) and go to school full time. I'm on the go constantly so I need a diet that is flexible and will work for me. How do I figure out what is the best diet and exercise plan for me? How do I loose the pounds without spending a lot of money?

When I was younger I did well by just planning ahead. I didn't need a specific diet plan so much as always knowing what I was going to eat and having quick options available. I always kept raw veggies in my backpack and kept at least 3 nutritious meals on hand so I wouldn't be tempted by the Golden Arches. Decide on your study foods too. You'll want to snack and that's not bad but you need to make conscious decisions. I liked air popped popcorn with garlic salt or a little curry powder.

You need to write your exercise into your schedule and make it a habit. I would take advantage of the opportunities your college has available. I loved weight training but it's up to you what you will stick with. It's best to have a buddy or a group or at least a specific goal so you don't slack off.

You might see about working out getting more time for your health, maybe by taking fewer credit hours per semester in the future. For now maybe lose the pounds by avoiding junk food. That should save money.
