We've done everything we can to get away from nature. The crops we grow aren't even natural anymore because they're all genetically engineered. Probably 90% of the stuff people consume isn't natural. So you're right. These people don't have a leg to stand on when it comes to "natural."

I don't understand the concept of "opposing homosexuality". Life is NOT Disneyland; filled with pretty people, black & white concepts, and happy endings. Do we debate whether Saguaros are trees? -Or red is a "natural" color for hair? Or penguins are birds- because they can't fly? -Or the Amish are unpatriotic because they refuse to take up arms to defend this country? If we can understand THESE differences against the "norm" in the larger world, WHY can't we accept the REALITY that Gay people ARE the way they ARE??? And they're NOT going away...- Not no way...-NOT no how. And it doesn't get any more "natural"-than that.

That's a great way of showing people your point. It's so valid and true. How can people walk around and point out one small thing that is in their eyes "unnatural" when they have to look through their UNNATURAL glasses or contacts to see it.
Not to mention, my dogs hump each other all the time, and they're natural. ^she has valid points^

hmm.in history we find most cultures practiced one form or another of homosexuality at some point on he wide scale. It was used as a form of birth control. Yet today we debate over if its right or wrong. nature does as it needs to, and given we are over populated now it stands to reason some people would be by nature as her way of trying to make sure those of us here can survive. So no i tend to think it is not a meaningful opposistion to anything.

I agree with you...but want to say something to Saddam - guess what? People are NOT animals, people do not get together exclusively with the purpose of procreation. We do not go into season and screw whatever we can so that we can further propagate the race. Every time you have sex, is it with the intention of making a baby? NO! Homosexuality is about loving and wanting to share your life with a person of the same gender, it's not just about sex. Sex is only a small part of any relationship, and we are living in times when, if homosexuals would like to procreate, they can do that in all sorts of different ways to the "normal" way of starting a family.
We may as well choose to discriminate against people who like oral sex, and those who don't. Although by your train of thought, it should be banned, because the end does not result in a baby.
Enjoy your boring sex life.

"Natural" in the sense of homosexuality refers to MOTHER NATURE, or the nature of things on this earth -- not to what is popular or man-made like homes and clothing and TV. In NATURE, male and female pair off and have offspring. If two men or two women pair off, that is NOT NATURAL. Take a lesson from the animals and insects - they're doing it right.

What I consider unnatural is parents and family members who think it’s ok to beat their gay children into going straight.
Tell me what’s natural about torturing your child because he or she is not a little clone of you?
There is absolutely nothing natural about this kind of cruelly to your own?
This is what has to stop.

What is it that deer do that is not natural? or dogs, cats, bats, grass, clouds and so on. Why should humans be different. What humans do is natural. No one can stop us from doing these things except humans. But it seems to me like punishment is not a very successful tool in stopping humans from doing what they want to do. And Jesus told us to forgive those who trespass upon us, and turn the other cheek and so on. Why not belief that Jesus knew what he was saying?

Sex between consenting adults is not unnatural regardless of the genders. Sex with other things, like children or animals is unnatural.

If you are waiting for a rational explanation of a religious belief, you'll you be disappointed. Prejudice is prejudice. Some people have made up their minds that God hates gay people and they don't want to hear anything else. Believe me, I know!
